I was at my LFS today (just browsing. killing time.) and I saw a Blue Tang. (Aren't they also known as pallet or regal tangs?) Then I looked above them and saw what they had labeled "Little Blue Tang". I was wondering if these are a mini version of the larger ones, or just little babies. (They were so cute though!)

I am not going to get one. I was just curious.

Another curiosity: What size of a tank do Blue Tangs need? Won't they grow to accommodate the size of your tank (like goldfish)?

Still not getting one. Just curious.

They are labeled Blue Tangs, Hippo Tangs & Regal Tangs. Most Tang owners will tell you nothing less than 4 feet in length and at least 75 gallons in capacity. Tangs are open water swimmers, they need a lot of room.
