This morning, just before heading out to work... I was looking at my tank and noticed a burst of white, cloudy something and saw one of my larger bristle worms go flying from his little hole to 1/2 way around the tank. I panic'd, thinking it was one of my cucumbers unleashing deadly revenge on some crab or another... but as I watched (and looked for the cuc), I noticed another bristle worm "stand up" and spew a white cloud of liquid into the water. Then another one.

I'm at a loss as to what is going on. I've noticed my snails doing this on occation and noted that it was sperm (after researching it)... but I thought the worms were asexual... what is going on with this??

TIA!

Could have been expelling waste. Other than that, could be worm sperm?
