bristleworms during the day?

I was looking in my tank and a bristleworm (?) was out. I thought that they were nocturnal. Is it just some wierd thing that happened, or is there some other kind of worm that looks like bristleworms that comes out during the day. Sorry no pics, but it was about 1/8 inch wide, 2 inches long (what was out of the lr anyways), and looked just like a bristle worm.

I have several large ones that come out to eat with the other animals at feeding time, pretty cool aren't they.

That one was bigger that the others that I usually see. I think that they are interesting to watch, but that's why I got the aquarium in the first place.
Very relaxing.
