broken skimmer please help/advice

Hi guys last night I broke/cracked one of the inlet pieces on my skimmer. Problem being it is a molded piece. A friend suggested I use jb weld to seal it up but I'm not sure if that could leach into my water is there anything out there that is safe to use in my tank?

Crazy clue is used to mount coral frags or two part epoxy from a LFS is used too.

JB weld is fine if you let it cure before touching water.

Epoxy putty works well you can mold it. Home Depot sells it as well as lfs once it cures your good.

+1 as long as its cured before putting it in, it'll be fine

Thank you all for your input jb weld it is then. My tank should be OK without my skimmer running for couple days shouldn't it?

It should be fine. Just feed a little lighter until you turn it back on.
