This brown algae is growing on the glass everywhere...I have to clean it almost every 3 days. Is there any way to stop it from growing in my tank?

I have the same problem though I'm cleaning my everyday( it sucks). I heard outdated lighting could be the cause. But that's just what I heard

Old bulbs will definitely cause more algea to form. The light profile changes as the bulb ages, to a wavelength that's more conducive for algea growth.

The bulbs I have came with my light. I plan on changing them ASAP but I mean I don't money like that so I have to make due....any ideas on good bulbs....I hear ATI is a good brand!

I use ATI also. Good color and not too pricey. I use the blue plus and the blue specials.
