Last week I had a green algae out break so I scraped it off and I turned off the lights for 2 days and everything looked ok. Now I got some sort of brown algae outbreak, I mean overnightperty much the whole tank was covered with brown. Seems like I cant get rid of it.I got about 10 snails, 5 hermits, sailfin tang and some other form of crab that constantly eats, all going to work on it but its not helping. It seems like I cant turn on the lights for more than 6 hours without some sort of outbreak. what causes this? Im using fish store water. I got a ton of cheato for nitrates, all water parameters are really 0good 0 phosphates, 10 nitrates, 0- nitrite and amonia. 2 weeks ago I went hunting for a mean crab in my 55 gal and I had to remove lots of rocks, things were stired up Imean like lots of debris in the water. No problem though I cleared up quickly. anyone have any advise?
