Brown algea growth

I have noticed a little bit of brown algae growth on the glass and on the sand. It is very little and comes off pretty easy with the magnafloat I have. My tank is still young, however the water parameters are all in check.

Ph= 8.0
Ammonia= 0
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
KH = 9
Salinity = 1 .023
29 gal bio cube with stock lighting (NOT HQI)

I also do small weather changes weekly, mainly with RO/DI water and enough store bought salt water to keep the salinity correct.

I maybe keeping my lights on to long and may try Turing them off sooner.

However, I am wondering if there is any snail, or sea slug, or any other organism that eats the brown algae??????

Its all part of the process for a newly established tank. The brown algae is called diatoms and they will come and go during the first few months of the tanks life. It wouldnt hurt to leave them alone and let them go away on their own but i believe some snails will help eat it. Nothing to worry about.
