I have noticed a little bit of brown algae growth on the glass and on the sand. It is very little and comes off pretty easy with the magnafloat I have. My tank is still young, however the water parameters are all in check.
Ph= 8.0
Ammonia= 0
Nitrate = 0
Nitrite = 0
KH = 9
Salinity = 1 .023
29 gal bio cube with stock lighting (NOT HQI)
I also do small weather changes weekly, mainly with RO/DI water and enough store bought salt water to keep the salinity correct.
I maybe keeping my lights on to long and may try Turing them off sooner.
However, I am wondering if there is any snail, or sea slug, or any other organism that eats the brown algae??????
