Bubble TIp Anemone Split

Could you tell me when a bubble tip anemone would split? What are the signs, if any, of it getting ready to split? I was feeding my anemone today and realized that it's foot was so thick and looked like two anemones in one. Now, I am not holding my breath in terms of its actually splitting anytime soon but the way it looked today got me thinking. Thanks.

usually they split when stressed or have incorrect parameters from what ive been told. I've never had one split with me before.

Thanks. Some people will actually purposely induce the stress method to clone an anemone.

seems like it would be less stressful on the nem to just frag it but to each is his own.

My clownfish annoyed my bubble tip enough that I now have 4. I don't know if it's just the picture or not, but your anemone looks pretty bleached.

It's neon green and the picture does make it look bleached. It's happy though.
