My bubble tip was happy and didn’t move from his spot for months. Then I did a water change and he is sitting up near the top of the tank by the water return. I have never seen this before. All water chems look good. The water is reading a little on the hard side. Any suggestions?

you could try putting it back be sure it cant get sucked into any intakes

I would not do this. You could risk injuring the foot. If it moved it clearly wanted to be somewhere else where it was happier.

An anemone moving wouldn’t be about parameters. It’s all light and flow.
If you want to try to move it, which I wouldn’t recommend, some people are successful with sliding a credit card gently near the foot.
A safer way is by pointing a powerhead at it.
Either way, something about your water change upset it and made it move. I had one do this after 2 years in the same spot and you’ll never be able to pin point down what it was.

Ive read keeping a laser pointer focused on it can make them move, Ive never tried but my buddy swore it worked for him with his condy
