They have a sale for the tour and also some other sale % off, I forget, cause was kinda confusing. Sale during tour, sale after tour, one of them this much another this much. If I order now and pick up sat do I get sale price, IDK. I've decided I'm not going to worry about it and if they have something I like, at the right price and IF I think I can care for it then I'll do some shopping, otherwise it's a learning trip for me. Kinda cool though, cause I was planning to go there this Saturday anyway (my weekend off).

I bring my dog with me when I go up and he likes the attention LOL, but since this is tour, he'll be staying home. He helps me pick stuff out LOL cause I say should I, well I kinda keep saying it til he gets excited and then I'm like Yep, you're right. HEHEHE

Too excited, can't concentrate.

Tomorrow is the tour at Live Aquaria and Diver's Den!!!!! I'm having a really hard time concentrating on anything. Am so antsy that I can't stay with one thing and complete it, am kinda bouncing off the walls.:ROFLMAO:

The schedule allows for almost 3 hours of shopping of Diver's Den :eek2:and the Aquaculture Coral & Marine Live Facility. WOOHOO, :eggface:I can shop in the WYSIWYG of Diver's Den instead of looking at pictures. OMG I think that's gonna be way too much time to spend money. I may end up being soooo broke when I get home cause if I buy one thing, I'll buy more.:eek: (May have to go beggin for a meal at my daughters here and there LOL):lach:

Pick up my Granddaughter at 10 and heading up north.:smilecolros:

I ask but one favor....someone, anyone, is probably gonna have to drag my butt out of there and knock me back into the real world. Dang just thinking about being around so many corals is just frickin mind boggling.

KKKKK I gotta stop rambling. LMAO:clown:

OMG

Wow this place is awesome. Tour is done, time to shop. :). Got pics and a couple of videos. Hope they turn out. Will post later. Somebody wish for me not to spend too much. I am gonna need help lol.

Update

Unpacking and acclimating now. Bought 2 peppermint shrimp, one DOA (and that was doubled bagged with air too, left store close to 2 1/2 hours ago. 1 hour 15 drive with stopping 1x on way home.....it should not have died). Bought another Red Spotted Cardinal and he's acclimating. Gotta open the box and get to the corals and 2 Fire Shrimp. They sealed the box as in shipping. Pics to come once I get organized, just got home.

Gonna contact them after I see how everyone else is doing.

Was an awesome time, sooooooooo many corals...........sooooooooooo many BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG fish, WoW, am in awe at how big some of those tangs and angels are. 8, 9, 10 inches they had and I know they get bigger, but did I say WOW. Definitely 75 gallon to small for them now that I've seen some of them.

Glad you enjoyed yourself! Sounds like an awesome day! Make sure we get some photo's and tell us a bit more when you've gotten all settled in. :-D

couple pics

Opened box, inside styrofoam box, inside baggies. Can you count how many baggies?? 1 bag should have 2 Fire Shrimp and 1 Bag should have a few snails, the rest are corals.

The peppermint (8.99 ea) and spotted cardinal (12.99 ea) I bought in their retail store.

I can tell you I WAS THE LAST TO LEAVE lol, I closed up the place just like when people close up bars hehehehe. Me and about 8 employees hanging (waiting for me to go lol), chatting, while they were packing and I was paying LOL. Then I'd be oh wait, what's this one. LOL, and off to get me name and price and then oops....box that one too LOL.

While digging through the bags to find the shrimp and snails (which I still haven't found LOL), some of the bags have styrofoam in the too. Can't wait to see what I bought that's in there lol.

No don't ask, I have no clue what I bought anymore, I lost track, uhmmmmmm was kinda caught up in all the corals. (poor credit card)

Me going to a place like that would be like me going to the casino! LOL I need a grand to walk in the door and have a whirlwind day and walk out broke! hehe... then again at least I usually leave a casino with more than i enter with, so I'd probably better stay away from Live aqauria!

Fire Shrimp Self-Acclimation Tutorial in 5 easy steps

1. Open bag and empty some water.
2. Place bag in water with rolled rims.
3. Add small amount of tank water to bag.
4. Turn around to open snails' baggie and

5. Lastly find Fire Shrimp on his way out the bag.

And before you can get to the bag, it tips the rest of the way from him walking up it and BAM down he goes and is happier than &#&%.

His whole acclimation lasted about 10 minutes. Grrrr I hope he'll be alright which I think he will, because he has pretty much made him self at home. He is not shy.....He crawled under a rock and then said nope, and he's out exploring all over. LOL.

Diver's Den Tour

I emailed LiveAquaria Sunday about the peppermint shrimp and they emailed me back today with a credit to my account. I told them I bought it at their retail store and they credited me $31. and change. I feel guilty, it didn't cost that much, was 8.99. Now I emailed them late late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, then set up an "order" at 10am, cancelled that "order" at 10am, and contacted me with my options. I think for a company that does that much business, I think it's awesome speedy service.

Will I shop there again, hell yes, however, I'm gonna try to keep my hands in my pockets when I go to retail store, and just order on line....soooo much cheaper that way.

Was trying to go through the pictures but I'm uploading them now to photo bucket. I will post a link to it shortly. If you have any questions on a pic, then post the pic with the question.

1st link is a link to their videos (which of course are better than the 2 I have), I don't even know if they will play.

Virtual Aquarium Fish Video Clips : LiveAquaria.com Video Center

2nd link is to photobucket with 215 pictures from the Tour of Diver's Den this past Saturday, 2/25/12.

Disclaimer: I am not a photographer, I don't own a decent camera, I don't know how to take clear pictures of something in water let alone without. Enter at your own risk.

I'll be posting pics from photobucket as a I get a chance. Here are a few to start.

When I go to Drs. Foster & Smith (the Retail Store), I normally buy from 1 of these 4 coral displays, if I want any they have that day.

Some pictures finally

Ok, I'm sorry, I just took some pictures. All the pictures that I took while up at Diver's Den are out on photo bucket. I thought I put a link in, does it work?

My work schedule hasn't allowed me to do much. They are in the tank acclimated and doing well. I even forgot to take the salt out of the truck. Hmmm 4 days in the truck in this cold weather, with snow/rain and whatever else we've had am wondering if it's still gone be good to use.

Here's a couple quick FTS and a close-up of a coral with 2 greyish black "blobs" for lack of a better word, on one of my corals. I don't recall seeing it last night. Any clue what it is?

Ok time to post some pics.

Wow. You have a good amount of corals now. They seem to be everywhere lol. I think I have the same zooas in the bottom right shot, the mint green looking ones. They grow like a weed by the way. :-D
