Button Polyps

Is there any to force reproduction. I have noticed a few popping up on my LR but I would like to have a nice sized colony before moving into my new tank.

It's called "FEED ME!".LOL the more you feed the faster they grow....But remember this is saltwater so everyother day is fine. Also take a turkey baster and blast those liverocks once a week. That is food too!
PS this new keyboard is a *****...

I thought if you feed them to much that they will become dependent on you instead of taking food from the water.

Not corals. your polyps should be growing fairly fast anyway. I see 2-3 new polyps/week on my zoa. If you are not seeing this check your water parameters
