Buying online fish in the winter

What is the procedure with ordering fish online? Do they usually come, USPS, UPS,Fedex? Do they generally just leave them on your porch if you're not home? It is winter where I'm at (I guess 49 of the states in US have snow) and at this time of year it just makes it up to above freezing during the day. I appreciate any tips/info from those who have experience in purchasing fish online. THANKS

They will usually put heat bags in there to keep them warm but they are usually good for only a day. If it was me I would wait till it got warmer.
