calcium chlorlide for ca

Im planning on making my own two parts and where i work we have tons of calcium chloride that we use the make plant fertilizer can i use these to make the ca part.

Not sure about that, but I'm guessing your tanks are low in calcium? Do you have a lot of hard corals eating it up, or like me do you try to stretch out the PWC as far as you can?

I would not use it unless you know for a fact it's food grade. It can be loaded with impurities and heavy metals.

So if its food grade then it will work. Ill find out if its food grade or not.
