Can I clip on cooling fans onto my sump

Can I clip on cooling fans onto my sump, or must I do it on the top of my tank where the lights are?

You can clip them on the sump. It might not be as efficent though because the main heat probably comes from your display lights.

And remember either way - adding fans will increase evaporation (that's how it cools) and will need to do more frequent top-offs.

i would assume alot of heat also comes from pumps, a submersible pump using 120watts is alot of heat, especially when the water is comming into contact with it directly
