Can I feed seaweed everyday n less meaty food ?

Does seaweed turn into ammonia if uneaten?

Any kind of food that is left uneaten can turn into ammonia. Seaweed is OK if you have herbivores in your tank like tangs. Not every fish will eat seaweed though.
