There's probably a quicker way, but the best I've found so far is to add the pictures to your gallery on this site. Then open another window or tab in your browser. In one of the windows / tabs, open your gallery and find the picture you want to add. In the other tab / window, go to the thread or start the thread as you normally would. When you want to insert the picture, copy the bulletin board code that appears in your gallery below the picture in your gallery and paste it into the post. At first, this will just look like a web address, but when you preview your post or post your post, the picture will appear where you put the bulleting board code.
