Can I use these Ballasts?

I got 2 used ballasts from someone, who was using each of them to light 2 55W PC bulbs.

The spec:

Work Horse 5
Model No.: WH5 - 120 - L
Approved for Lamp of combination of 128 Max. Watts of: CFS/4P, CFT/4P, CFQ/4P, CFM/4p, Circline, Linear T5HO, T8, T8HO, T10, T12, T12HO

So does that mean that I can light 2 48" 54W T5 bulbs with each ballasts? I'm a lighting noob XD

That should be fine. Look into the reflectors for added punch.

Yeah, I've heard with proper/individual reflectors, T5 can beat MH by far

Ahem, I totally concur.

Dr. Sanjay Joshi has stated that two 24" T-5's with appropriate reflectors have the same PAR and punch as a 150w metal halide.
