Can Ocean rock turn live and can I keep corals on this ?

Hi there have ocean rock for marine aquariums or Malawi tanks in my marine aquarium will this turn live and can I keep corals on this ?x

"Live" is the nitrifying bacteria that colonizes on surfaces such as LR. So the answer is yes it will become live over time and you can keep corals on top of them.
