Hey I was just wondering if you can put to much light into your corals I have my lights on from about 8 in the morning till about 8 at night also my blue led light got left on for the past 2 days because the switch is broken is that bad for the coral?

There can be too much light period for corals. I try not to give my corals more than 8hrs light. Many say more than 8hrs can be a bad thing.

Typical length of time for lighting corals is 12 hours. They need total darkness too otherwise they will gradually die. Get a $5 timer from home depot to solve your problem and just have both lights turn on/off at the same time for 10 hrs.
