Canopies - A must have

I just built(I am not a good builder) a canopy for my 65 gallon reef, I put is on and WOW, It so completes the aquarium, To all who have a nice aquarium, find, build, or buy a canopy, Without the canopy on the aquarium just feels uncomplete now

The way I built mine was I went to stores and found the easiest and nicest canopy and just copied it

I`m glad you`re happy but I`m one of those that dont like a canopy. I had one but got rid of it because I did not like the look of it. It`s just one of those personal choices that each of us has to make. Good luck and as Roka said, Let`s see some pics.

I agree, lets see some pics! Congrats on the canopy. I've been thinking of building a canopy myself. I'd like to see what others have done to sort of give me an idea of what to do, not to copy.

I just added a thread about my DIY canopy - had to build it to add the MH retro kit I bought:

I love having room to work over the water, and its really helped heat buildup from the glass top I had (I didn't want to use egg-crate).
