carbon dust bad for aquarium life?

I got the two little fishes hydrocarbon2 and placed it in a filter bag. I can't seem to be able to wash out all of the carbon dust.

Will some leftover affect the inhabitants of the tank?

They will be fine the water just may turn a little bit black.

I tried to create my own filter one time and forces too much water through th filter bag. My water turn so black that you couldn't even see the fish. Everything was fine including my coral.

They should be a-ok, especially since u rinsed first!
