carbon- how much

I have 125 mixed reef with 30 gal. sump. I run GFO and carbon reactors. How much carbon should I use? I fill whole reactor.Feels like Im spending too much money on carbon. I change carbon every 4 weeks so maybe cup or two would be enough? What you guys think? Thanks.

It depends on the quality of the carbon. The better the carbon the less is needed. I use BRS ROX 0.8 and use 1 tablespoon for every 10 gal of water and change it every month.

That's what I used for last 2 1/2 months. I bought at BRS, paid like 50$ and it's gone already. I think I use too much...So I should use like 12 tablespoon. I try that, will see how much is it, 1 or more like 2 cups...Thanks.
