setting up a 20 gallon saltwater tank have a filter running should i be using carbon in the filter or should i take it out. also what temperature and saltiny should i keep the tank readings at thanks

Carbon is a good thing to run. The only problem is that they are only good for about a week. I usually dont run it unless I have a problem or want to polish off the water. I keep my water at 78-80 degrees and at 1.025 salinity.

I love how it polishes off my freshwater tanks.

Crystal Clear!

And for clearing up cloudy water... nothing better.

Just my 2 cents.
