carib-sea reef rocks

im just wondering if anyone here has or does use these as base rock.from what ive read its the same types of rock just from above ground so i would think it would work great compared to lava rock or something else, no one here sells it all the lfs say its crappy and you dont want it but i think they just wanna sell me 100#'s of live rock instead of something less than half price.

You don't have to do lr at all but it's still the best overall

If you're not interested in doing lr then checkout this link

Best "fake" stuff I've seen and good prices.

If you haven't figured it out yet I like to BOLD links :P

A LFS around here sells that for base rock. I never bought any but the guy says it works great. This is a very reputable store, with high prices unfortunately, and the guy knows his stuff.

Can't give you a first hand recommendation though.
