Hey everyone I'm getting into chalices and it seems they are the next big thing. Any one here have experience with care requirements and also why do you like chalice corals. What makes them awesome?

Id say ease of care, fragability and diverse colour morphs.

Medium light, medium flow. Feeding is not necessary but may enhance growth. Feeder tentacles come out at night & it will accept small meaty foods.

They are not the next big thing. Corals' popularity comes in waves. One year it's designer Zoanthids, then it's Acans, then it's chalices, then it's SPS, then back to Zoas.....and Acans....
You just came in at chalice time....lol.
They have varied requirements. Some do better in medium light, some higher light, some benefit from target feedings, others don't accept food....
Ask the guy you are buying the one you like from what he does for his.

Thanks for the response. I picked up my first two last week and they are doing great. I agree the colors of these colors can really draw you in.
