Changing salt..acclimation?

Hey, just wondering for anyone out there who has changed salt brands. How did you do the change? I would imagine if the salts are very different that you would want to acclimate the tank to the new mix. I'm thinking of going from Reef Crystals to Tropic Marin. Its a 20 gallon tank and I usually do 3 gallon water changes every week to week and a half. Thanks for any info...

I would do maybe a few 1 gal changes then slowly increase until you are back up to your normal routine....

I just change... Have not had any ill effects....

When I switched from Instant Ocean, I cut the waterchange amount by 50% and increased the frequency for about a month. After a month I went back to the normal routine, all has been fine.
