Not saying you will not get your stuff from these guys but I ordered from them and never recieved my lights. I ordered from Captivereefs and recieved my lights 3 days later. Great service to with questions you need answered to from Captivereefs.

what is the different between a magnetic ballast and non magnetic ballast? tia

An electronic ballast uses less energy, is alot lighter and runs much much cooler. It can also extend bulb life and fire more types of lamps than i standard magnetic ballast. Magnetic ballasts are big, hot and heavy! THey also use more power in the process.

try this metal halide combo

Dual 250 watt MH Ballast plus two sockets for $185. You can buy the bulbs elsewhere for about $70 each. I'm running two 400 watt MH ballasts, two 175 watt and one 250 watt ballast. They do NOT hum
