check my filter system is it good

its a fluval 304 canister w/ super activated carbon, bio media, that gose to a 10gal sump with a medium sized medium quality protein skimmer, and is pupmed back to the tank if there are any falws please post, or email me o yea its for a 60gal saltwater marine tank no reef

man interesting I have never heard of anyone doing that. I am not a fan of fluvals, but if you mean design wise I don't really see a prob. I would probably set them up seperately though just because of one fails the other will still work. Then again dunno if you wanna spend the money on an overflow box.
