His legs have to be a 1/4 or more in diameter
after seeing him I'm surprised I haven't lost any fish

doesn't seem to bother anyone and seems well fed so I'm not to worried about him
he just creeped me out being bigger than my hand
and not expecting him

I have had 2 pickish colored ones for 10 years or more, they have to be 18 inches tip to tip, they never bother anyone.

Watch your small fish! They eat anything. I hand feed mine chunks of shrimp. If you don't feed them they will grab a small fish. Mine ate 3 Allen damsels and one clown

You just found it in your tank? And never noticed it before?

What is it?

They generally don't catch fish. It's the green brittles that go out of their way for fish. I have kept them for years and they never bothered anything.

I can actually argue this one with you X.. Mine claimed 3 Allen damsels and a clown in 2 months.. Lol if I don't feed mine shrimp weekly. They find there own food

Lol. I came home from work one day. And one of the three Allen damsels was missing. And my big serpent was laying on a rock with one fat belly...
