After adding the chemi-clean to my tank I noticed that there were alot of micro bubbles about an hour or two later and they are still there after 24 hrs.

Is this normal???

the main tank is a 46 gal with an overflow box to my 15 gal refuge with a seacloan 100 and chaeto. there ae baffles in the sump and stillthe bubbles are still there.

I did not have any bubbles when I used this product. Do you have a skimmer and is it shut off?

Yes, it should be turned off while treating with Chemi-Clean. Also, do not forget to remove any GAC if you have not already done so.

I had the same thing happen when I used Chemi-clean. (It didn't kill my cyano BTW). The bubbles were coming from my skimmer, which went crazy as soon as the stuff was added.

The instructions state specifically that you must have good aeration during treatment, so it seems to me that having the skimmer left on would be a good thing.

I think one just has to be ready to adjust it after the treatment.

While the first treatment of chemi-clean didn't work...it hasn't done any harm either. So I think I'm going to give it another try in a few days.
