Hi all,
I've just gone to mix up my water change ready for saturday, but unfortunatly my spare heater that I use has cracked:-(

Now...I know temp effects SG, but is there a conversion table available on the interweb. This way, I could get on and mix my water, then buy a heater at the weekend ready for the water to be warmed just prior to being added to my tank.

Hope that makes sense

Furthermore Randy states that if you use a swing arm hydrometer temperature won't make a noticeable impact on salinity.

"swing arm hydrometers do not usually require any corrections for temperature effects over the range normally used by aquarists"
