chiller: pipe to sump or directly to tank?

It's already starting to get warm in Southern California. We're probably going to get the Titan 150 chiller to help control the temp on our 60g tank w/ 18g sump.
The question becomes, should we pipe the chiller through the sump (in & out of the sump) or pipe it to the tank directly?

Any suggestions & thoughts are welcome!

When I ran my chiller, I ran it inline as the last stage before it went to the tank. Water from the sump was pumped through the chiller to the tank, worked fine.

i do the same it goes directly to the tank.

Me too, inline from sump to tank. Looks like my GPH are fine for my chiller.
