chocolate chip star

I head these guys will eat zoo's and other inverts (crabs, shrimp) is this true.. I just bought one today along with my scooter dragonite and a sand sifter star...

They are not reef safe and will get quite large. I have one, but he has just been added to our larger tank. He hasn't caused any damage to anything yet, but if he does we will have to get rid of him. From what I understand they will eat corals, etc.

90 gal SW, 2 blue chromis, 1 three stripe damsel, 60 lbs LR, Christmas Tree worm, long spine urchins, 2 brittle stars, 8 hermit crabs, 3 bumble bee snails, 2 margarita snails, 2 Ocellaris clowns, Regal Blue Tang, Chocolate Chip star, pygmy angel, bangaii cardinal, yellow tang, LTA, carpet anemone, 3 peppermint shrimp, and still growing!

I have heard the same that they eat snails and such...

they'll also eat soft corals.
