hi all,
Looking for some recommendations on choosing shrimp for my 75 gal system w/ LR. The plan is for a community tank. Currently I have a pair of false percs, turbo snails and BL hermits. Looking for shrimp that are hardy and do well in groups....2 or 3....any suggestions would be great...thanks

The two most popular that can easily be kept in pairs are the cleaner shrimp, Lysmata amboinensis or Lysmata grabhami. If there are no dusters or other possible "snack" items you could also try the peppermint shrimp, Lysmata wurdemanni.

All can be kept in groups and will breed quite readily providing the tank specs are good. Great natural food source as well.

Just a word of caution though. Be very careful of researching your fish additions. Many fish that seam unaggressive may end up lunching on your newer aquisitions 8O

Cheers
Steve
