OK guys very serious question..I can get these right now. The ones on Reef Builder are the exact ones. I went down to see them. They are priced at 10K but I can get them for $8K OR if I pay the 10K, he'll give me a slightly used floor model Elos 160. What do you think?

And this won't happen where they are. they are sitting in a 50 gallon cube. The owner will either keep them or sell them to whoever wants them. If I could pony up the cash, they will not be in better hands.

I agree that it is cool to have something that rare, but with so little known, I'm not sure if pay that much. Let someone else make mistakes , collect data and then buy one down the road when more is known about it. There are other rare wrasses that I think are more impressive and for less. That's just my two cents.

I worked in a public aquarium years ago and on my first day ,in the basement ,they showed me a tank of African chichlids and said "don't kill these they are the only ones left in the world." For a while I was amazed that I had something so rare to care for after a month they were just a tank of brown fish
