clam info please

could someone please direct me to a good website or a source of information about clams. They look very beautiful and my lfs says my setup is just fine for the clams, but I would like to read up on them first to make sure I can provide it with the care it needs. My tank specs are bellow...

With the ligting you have, you should be fine w/ a lower light demanding clam like a Squamosa or a Derasa. Marinedepotlive.com has some info., also do a yahoo search (Tridacna clam) for more. I'd stay away from Crocea and Maximas.

Marinedepotlive recommends MH for all clams, but many places/people say you can keep Derasa, Gigas, and Squamosa under fluorescents. Here is a link w/ good info-
