does someone have different pictures of clams or scallops? so i can determine what type i have in my tank. 1 is brown and shaped the like the shell gas station shell. maybe an inche across. it opens and closes. the other is kinda rosey red, it opens and closes also. i wanna know what type they are, so i can know if and what to feed them. do most clams or scallops(cause i dont know what they are exactly) feed on light? or do they need regular food like fish tia

Flame scallops must be fed and any clam that small has to be fed also. Phytoplankton, cyclopeeze, brine, I guess any of these would do for something that small.

i have 2 clams that came on my LR....blue green color.
I have heard the clams and scallops require alot of current since they filter feed
I want to get a bay scallop and add to my tank once they go in season....they are cool to watch in a tank cause they actually swim around.
