Cleaner Shrimp Question

Hi guys, I was just wondering if you guys think my cleaner shrimp is ok. I got him yesterday evening (about 30 hrs ago) and after an initial explore, he went to hide under a rock and still has not come out. Do you guys think he is ok or should I be worried?
Thanks in advance, Eddy

He could be getting ready to molt.

What're your water parameters? Especially nitrate

I don't think you should be worried. Shrimp enjoy hanging on rocks!

I have
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
0 nitrate
So I don't think it is the water. Thanks for the quick reply

Shrimp like to hang upside down on rocks. It's kinda like their thing.

I thought that redsea but he is sat in a crevice in a rock and isn't moving about much, I can't see him very well either as he is in a rock facing backwards so I struggle to see him

Give it time. Adjustment sucks, plain and simple. If you were in a bag after being taken out of your "home" after being taken from your real home and tossed into yet another tank that is warmer, brighter,...so on as most home SW tanks are better setup than most pet stores... you'd want to crawl into a rock too.

His carapace is soft, he'll do more when it hardens up. BTW, they still like it under rocks.
