Cleaner (Skunk) Shrimp

Watching my tank this evening, I wondered if any of you guys have not had the ultimate pleasure of seeing Cleaner Shrimp in action. I think it is one of the neatest happenings in my tank. Seeing fish actually opening their mouths and letting these shrimp go inside to clean, or seeing a fish practically upside down trying to position itself to be serviced by my trio of Cleaners is such a phenomenal event.

Don't miss out! It is an amazing sight.

Is this a fantastic hobby or what!

Sue

I am one of the lucky and will give an Amen to that. It is amazing to see the relationship between the fish and the cleaner

i've had the pleasure of seeing it. Its my favorite thing to watch. The best thing is that it helps the fish. No ich for my fish. I just love the little guys

Mine are ok together in my 80gl, the cbs will chase the cleaner away from his spot if the cleaner wanders to close but they pretty much dont care about each other. Here is a lucky shot I got of them at feeding time...
