thanks for the help everyone. the tank is full and theres no signs of leaks or anything. the old heater from the original setup still works great, the water is about 82 degrees atm. i was getting ready to setup for salt but my gf decided to with a freshwater setup so I'm going to have to look into that. Thanks again for all your help!!!
