I would love to get a cleaning crew in my tank or at the very least a bottom feeder to help my regular tank maintence. I have a problem though, because I have a Valentini Puffer, Dwarf Lion, and a damsel that has so far escaped the lion. I know shrimp are out, and stars as well. What about snails? Would the puffer eat them as well?

I was thinking about gobies or blenny's for bottom feeders. But I really need something that will escape the wrath of the lion. I'm worried about anything too small, because where I got my lion he ate a dottyback, and a few perculas. So obviously I need something big, but not too big.

Ya, any invert cleaners, including snails are out. Unless you want to buy expensive dinners for your fish. Might get away with larger serpent of brittle stars.
Siphoning uneaten food, good mechanical filtration are your best freinds.
As for gobies and blennies, they are limited in their bottom cleaning abilities, plus you better get big ones.
