Hey guys, just been informed that 20ppm is nothing to worry about. Is this true?

This is the pistol shrimp. Anyone know what type it is?

I can't tell what type that is by the pic but pistol shrimp are harmless they will not bother anything in your tank that does not bother it with that said if your other shrimp bother it the pistol will win the battle I had a coral banded shrimp in my tank that I would have loved for my pistol to take care of for me but no help I had to remove him my self

i had the same thing in my tank, ended up being a mantis shrimp. Very cool creature but can cause alot of damage to the rest of your fish/inverts. Have a look at some videos breaking clams etc... mine was really small and clear and as it grows gets more colour
