Cloudy Water?

Alright so.. i used sugar-sized aragonite as my sandbed, and well, in order to shape it the way i wanted it to look.. i couldn't wash it. I needed it completely dry. So i didn't wash it.

All in all, there really wasn't THAT much cloudiness from it, and i stirred up the surface of the sand a little just to get some of that extra dust out of there. In maybe a day or two it was very clear. Yet i still see a little tint of cloudiness in the water, and i was wondering what the material was that you put in your filters to make the water crystal clear. Filter Floss? I can't find any place that sells.. "Filter Floss".. does it go by a different name? Like micron filter or.. micron pad? I have no clue.. so please help me out here guys..

Try using the keyword polishing pad. I use polishing pads for my fluval 305. They will make the water crystal clear and cost $5.00 for 6 of them at petsmart. They clog FAST so make sure to change them out in a few days.
