clown

I have a clown fish that loves to "dig" in the sand with his back fin. He will make large deep holes in the sand bed. Can this cause a spike in Nitrates?

Unless he is really tearing up the whole sandbed, I doubt that it will have much effect.

I have a black clown fish and he does the same thing. I haven't had any problems yet. Working on 2 months with him.
