I have a Carpet Anemone and i bought a sebae clownfish today is that good match up or will he just swim around like the last clown i had

The carper anenome is generall associated with the percula, false percula, and the domino damsel. Your fish may try to host in it but it is not likely due to the very strong sting of a carpet. If it is a carpet from the atlantic/carribean then there is no clown that hosts in it but it sometimes inhabited by an anenome shrimp. Here is a link to clownfish/anenome compatibility: http://lib1.store.vip.sc5.yahoo.com/lib/marinedepotlive/AnemoneSymbioticMap.htm . HTH, Skip
