Clown fish pairing

Hello,

I am aware that perculas and ocellaris can pair up, but would it be possible that a percula and black ocellaris would pair?

Mixing like such isn't something is want to try. That said, the color doesn't matter. I had 2 b/w clowns and the male jumped. I had a small orange in a tank I was taking down and was able to introduce them, to which they did pair up.

color morphs are meaningless to the fish.
