If I had a male and female clownfish, would it be worth it to get one anemone? So they could either breed or hide i don't really know. And could I get away with monthly water changes?

Anemones are nice for some clown fish, they might actually host it, or not, depends on the clowns. :)

I do monthly water changes and I find my water parameters are not that great in those tanks. Every two weeks would be my recommendation at the very minimum. I used to keep up with weekly water changes but that was getting tedious and expensive as i change out over 100g every time I change the water. lol

Too add to what carey said, for the best results look up what type of clowns you have as different clowns naturally host different nems... not a guarantee they will take to it but a better chance... also if your clowns are big get a bigger nem.. the clowns can stress out a nem and beat it up if its too small.
