Clownfish shimmying or shivering behavior

My clownfish do this same kinda thing? is that the same mating behavior? The have been doing that for about 1-2 months. how long does it take for them to become a mated pair?

They might be already or they may never be. The behavior you are talking about is normal everyday behavior that I have seen. I have three clowns in my tanks and they all do it.

I'm under the impression it is a display of submission...my male GSM always nuzzles the Female and then shimmies.

the shimmying or seisuring is the male being submissive to the female... its showing the female that they know that they are boss so i wouldnt worry about it.. its perfectly normal
