collection cup not collecting much
Hey, ive had my aquarium for about 2 years and the first week i got it my collection cup was overflowing, but ever since, ive never had to change it. My tank perimiters are always perfect and i have no algae. Ive cleaned my powerhead 1nce and my skimmer works fine, just not alot of waste in cup. I have the backpack made for a 60, but i have a 29 gallon. Should i worry? Its a reef tank btw.

You might not have much to skim based on your bioload. Mine gets about 1/2 full in 2 or 3 weeks. Mine was like yours in that at first it was everyday but as it broke in it started to collect the real deal.

Remove the cup and check the neck to see how much stuff you have collected on the sides. If the neck is encrusted with crap it will reduce the neck size and restrict collection.
